NURS 664 Primary Care Procedures

A nursing skill development course with online and face-to-face didactic and lab for FNP nursing students. Addresses knowledge and skills necessary to perform primary care procedures including suturing, splinting, incision, and drainage (I&D). Particular emphasis will be placed on principles of primary care; office-based preventive medicine; practical management of the most common problems seen in primary care practice; and expanded skills in clinical examination and common office procedures.
