CHEM 260 Biochemistry

Introduces general, organic and biological chemistry. Lecture topics include scientific measurement, classification of elements and matter, chemical bonding and reactions, properties of biological molecules, and metabolic pathways. Laboratory activities include determining density and specific gravity, analyzing strengths and reactions of acids and bases, investigation of various biochemical pathways, and understanding the nature of biological reactions.
