DHYG 475 Applied Periodontology

(formerly DHYG 380) Provides the dental hygiene student with an advanced understanding of periodontics. The development of a periodontal treatment philosophy will be accomplished through reading in the classical and current scientific literature. Methods of instruction include guided facilitation, demonstration, case studies, and classroom activities.
