NURS 110 Introduction to Professional Nursing

This course introduces the student to a theoretical foundation for professional nursing practice. The course focuses on nursing as a caring profession, nurse's roles and functions, ethics, standards, legal aspects, health care delivery, communication, teaching/learning, critical thinking, and the nursing process. The Conceptual Framework and Philosophy of WCU will be explored as well as the capstone project.
