NURS 654L Clinical Nurse Leader - Clinical Practicum II

This is the second semester of the practicum taken in the final semester of the Clinical Nurse Leader program of study. Students will focus on the synthesis, application and evaluation of the interdisciplinary role of the clinical nurse leader and, with faculty supervision, assume a CNL role and design and implement processes for the effective management and evaluation of client/patient outcomes across the continuum of care. Each student will integrate best practices, principles of effective leadership and negotiation skills, utilization of information systems to evaluate client/patient outcomes, and theories of organizational behavior in the implementation of a health care initiative project.
