PHAR 714 Advanced Self-care

This course, through didactic lectures and active learning strategies, introduces home treatment and prevention of common medical problems.  The course focuses on medical conditions related to various organ systems and different patient populations.  A better understanding of these topics will help students to advance their clinical knowledge, and prepare them to achieve best practice outcomes for patients during their clinical clerkships.
